| I want to make backup's of my DVD's onto video tape. Does Macrovision affect this? |

| Yes, the CCS (Content Scrambling System) or Macrovision will prevent you from recording your DVD's onto videotape. Macrovison is a property of the DVD and not the player and not all DVD's contain macrovision but a large percentage do. The effect varies from intermittent loss of recorded picture and/or sync, to total degredation of recorded picture, depending on the video recorder being used. |
