Your Guarantee Of Excellence


For the period of 12 MONTHS from the date of purchase your product has the benefit of our FULL PARTS AND LABOUR GUARANTEE as detailed below.

We undertake to replace or repair any part of the product which fails due to manufacturing defect within 12 months of the date of purchase provided that:

  1. The product has been installed and used only in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product.

  2. The product has not been repaired , maintained , or modified by any person other than our authorised Engineer.

  3. The product serial number is not removed or altered.

What is covered


Repair costs to your product resulting from mechanical or electrical breakdown. The product is covered:
  1. For any one repair - up to the original price paid for the product, and
  2. Up to a maximum of £1,000 during the period of insurance.
  3. If the product is beyond economical repair the insurer may replace the product with the same or equivalent new model or agree a similar settlement.

What is not covered


  1. The cost of any materials and labour charges for which the manufacturer is responsible under the terms of any guarantee or warranty.

  2. The cost of any alteration, repair or replacement caused by a failure of electrical equipment, computer hardware or associated equipment to correctly recognise any date as the true calendar date.

  3. Breakdown due to:
    1. Use other than domestic use by you or your resident family.
    2. Wilful act or negligent or misuse of product.
    3. Accidental damage.
    4. Fire, lightning, explosion, flood or other causes external to the product.


  4. Damage resulting from:
    1. Loss of external power supply.
    2. Use of accessories not approved by the manufacturer or supplier.


  5. Damage of a cosmetic nature including, but not limited to scratching, trim faults, rusting and damage to any other such mechanically non-functional items.

  6. Repair costs for.
    1. Work covered by a manufacturer's recall of product.
    2. Damage caused by foreign objects or substances.
    3. Incorrect setting of controls.
    4. Any costs incurred where no fault is found.


  7. Replacement costs for, or damage to consumable items such as batteries, light bulbs etc.

  8. Compensation for loss or use of the product and consequential loss of any kind.

  9. The cost of repairs carried out by repairers not specifically nominated by Key Electronics Ltd.


This guarantee does not apply to products acquired secondhand or for commercial or communal use. This guarantee does not extend to user control control adjustments or battery replacement. Any parts replaced under guarantee shall become the property of Key Electronics Ltd.

Please note that evidence of the date of purchase will be required before service under guarantee is carried out. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
