(!) Please ensure that all equipment is turned off before commencing connection.
Please identify the following on the rear of your DVD Player. Layout of the 6ch audio out sockets
Using optional RCA leads (3 pairs), insert one end of each lead into the 6 channel audio output sockets on the rear of your DVD player. Please connect these carefully and note which pair is connected to which output.
Connect the other end of the RCA leads to a suitable amplifier ensuring that the inputs are connected LIKE TO LIKE with the outputs of the DVD Player. Failure to connect LIKE TO LIKE will result in incorrect audio output.
Example connection : HT80 - HT81.

Note: - Ensure that the 'AUDIO OUTPUT' is set to 'ANALOG' and the 'DOWNMIX' option is set to 'OFF' in the AUDIO OUT and DOWNMIX option menus within the GENERAL SETUP and SPEAKER SETUP section of the MAIN MENU.

If you are connecting your DVD player this way then you will have to decide on an option for your video. Find out about Scart Connection, S-Video Lead or Composite Video Lead video connection.
