Is there anyway the Reoc A6 can be made multi-regional?

PLEASE NOTE - The REOC A6 DVD Player was advertised and
purchased from Safeway as a Region 2 Player ONLY. Changing the DVD
player to region free is done at your own discretion and entirely at your
own risk. The information on this page has been checked by our
engineers. Whilst we try to ensure that the information is factually

You do not need to change the region settings of the Reoc A6 DVD
Player if you just want to play Region 2 DVD's purchased in the
UK and Europe.

The Reoc A6 can be made multi-regional by following this procedure.
- Press OPEN button to open the tray the press the SETUP button to enter the setup menu.
- Press these buttons in turn: 1,3,6,9, left, left, left, right.
- Then the player will show a VERSION SETUP item in the setup menu. Press STEP, PREVIOUS & NEXT
