Some of the channels are not accessible from
the buttons on the front of the TV, but seems fine from the remote.
What is wrong with my set?

Nothing is wrong with your set. The channel numbers may be 'skipped'.
If, when choosing a channel number directly from the remote handset
the channel number is displayed in red but everything else seems ok
then the channel has been skipped in the 'Edit' menu.
Skipping program numbers allows you to miss out channels when browsing
(i.e. using the pr+ and pr- keys) so all 100 channels are not
accessed). If all the channel numbers are skipped then the pr+
and pr- buttons become effectivly redundant but direct access is
still possible using the remote handset.
To clear this condition go to the 'Edit' menu and make sure that
the 'Edit' column contains a 'NO' on the particular channel numbers
you want to be able to view using the browsing method (Usually
1-5 are set to 'NO' and all the rest are set to 'YES'.
Click here to get instructions on how
to do this.
If the set has been tuned manually only then all these will be
set to 'YES' in the 'Edit' column, and they will need to be changed
manually as before each channel is stored.
