move down to the next available free slot ready for you to
start inputting details. Repeat steps 3 to 8
to input more Timer recordings.
If your cassette is thrown out at this stage then
please insert a cassette that is available for recording,
ensuring the record protector tab is in place.
You will notice after leaving the Timer menu that
you cannot eject your cassette. (If you have
successfully stored a Timed recording.) This is to
make sure that the TR4 has a cassette to record on to when
the time comes for your recording to start. The last thing
your TR4 wants is for you to miss your recording because it
has nothing to record onto. Using FF or REW is still
permitted though.
It is up to you though to make sure that there is enough
free tape left in the cassette to accommodate your
recordings.
To cancel a timed recording, or stop one if has already
started, then enter the Timer programme menu
(Step 2) and move the highlight to the timer setting you
want to remove. If the programme has already started then
this row will be in magenta. Press the Clear button
on your remote to clear the programme.
Press the Menu button twice to return to normal
viewing.
