Remote Control Buttons For Channel Sorting

Button presses are in Bold.
Menu items are in Italics.

(!) It is useful to have a TV listings guide, and a pen and paper handy.

Step 1 Getting Started

This section presumes you have all available channels tuned in somewhere although maybe not in the correct order.
  • Starting at Pr 01 use the Pr Up button to find the first channel you wish to store. Pr 01 may already contain a programme you wish to keep.

  • Once you have found a programme you wish to keep then press the Menu button twice to bring up the Setup menu and the Channel Details.

Step 2 Getting the details right

(!) Do not store anything just yet as other programmes not yet detailed could be overwritten.

The Setup menu's first row is Channel Number. This has nothing to do with the Pr No you will be storing the channel onto.

  • Identify the channel (BBC1 or ITV etc.) and write the channel number next to it.

  • Press the Menu button twice and you will be returned to normal viewing.

  • Use the Pr Up button to find the next channel you want to keep.

  • Press the Menu button twice to bring up the Setup menu. Identify the station and write down the channel number next to it. Press The 'Menu' button twice to return to normal viewing.

Step 3 Getting the rest

  • Repeat Step 2 until you have all the details of all the channels you wish to store.

  • When you have all your channel details you should have a list similar but probably not exactly the same unless you receive transmissions from Emley Moor.
    • CH5 = 37

    • CH4 = 41

    • BBC1 = 44

    • ITV = 47

    • BBC2 = 51

Step 4 Putting things into order

Now that we have all our channel information it is time to put them in place.
  • Use the Pr Up and Pr Down buttons to select Pr 01.

  • Press the Menu button twice to enter the Setup menu.

  • Ensuring the highlight is on Channel, Using the Number Keypad on the remote handset type in the number you have for BBC1. (e.g.Emley Moor=ch44)

  • If you need to Fine Tune this station to optimise reception then using Pr Down button move the cursor down to the Fine Tune row and use the Volume buttons to adjust the Fine Tuning.

  • Use the Pr Down to move the cursor down to Store and press OK.
Stored will appear next to the cursor briefly and then disappear. The chosen channel is stored in position Pr 01.

Step 5 Changing the next one

  • Move the cursor using Pr Up to select the Program no and use the Volume buttons to change the Pr number to the next one (i.e. Pr 02)

  • Use Pr up to then move the cursor up to the Channel row.

  • Using your chart of transmitter frequency numbers enter the programme Channel Number for BBC2 (e.g. Emley Moor=ch51) using the Number Keypad on your remote.

Step 6 Storing & doing the rest

  • Move the cursor down using Pr Down to store and press OK.

  • Repeat steps 4 & 5 for all your channels you wish to store.

  • Press Menu to return to normal viewing.
