Remote Control Buttons For Channel Sorting

Button presses are in Bold.
Menu items are in Italics.


Editing your program details fall into four categories:
 
Moving A programme
 
Step 1 Getting Started

  • Press the Yellow button on the remote handset to bring up the EDIT menu.


  • Use the Pr, Pr, Vol and Vol buttons to move the cursor to the Programme Number number to be moved.
 
Step 2 Selecting The New Position

  • Press the Green Fastext button on your remote control. Your selection will change colour to green. Again using the Pr, Pr, Vol and Vol buttons move the cursor to the Programme Number you want to place the selected Programme Number in.
 
Step 3 Moving

  • Press the Green Fastext key on your remote control. The selected programme has been stored in the new location.
    Please Note: All following programs will be shifted down by one place.
 
Naming Programmes
 
Step 1 Getting Started

  • Press the Yellow button on the remote handset to bring up the EDIT menu.


  • Use the Pr, Pr, Vol and Vol buttons to move the cursor to the Programme Number number you want to rename.
 
Step 2 Changing The Name

  • Press the Blue Fastext button on your remote handset. The Programme Number and the Current Name turn to Blue.

  • Change the letters by using the Pr, Pr buttons.

  • To move onto the next letter, press Vol
 
Step 3 Storing Your New Name

  • Press the Blue Fastext button to store you new name.

  • You can now change other names if you wish.
 
Skipping Programmes
 
Step 1 Getting Started

When you skip a Programme Number you cannot browse to it when using Pr, Pr. Skipping channels is a good way to avoid browsing through empty Programme Numbers. Skipped Programme Numbers may still be accessed directly by keying in the channel number from the remote handset.
  • Press the Yellow button on the remote handset to bring up the EDIT menu.


  • Use the Pr, Pr, Vol and Vol buttons to move the cursor to the Programme Number number you want to skip.
 
Step 2 Skipping The Channel

  • Press the Red Fastext button on your remote handset. The Programme Number turns to Red.

  • The Channel is now 'Skipped' and will be ignored while browsing using Pr, Pr
 
Step 3 Unskipping Channels

  • If you wish to unskip a channel, enter the Edit menu using the Yellow button on the remote handset.

  • Use the Pr, Pr, Vol and Vol buttons to move the cursor to the Programme Number number you want to unskip.

  • Press the Red Fastext button on your remote handset. The Programme Number ceases to be red.

  • The Channel is now 'unskipped' and will be browseable again.
 
Deleting Programmes
 
Step 1 Getting Started

  • Press the Yellow button on the remote handset to bring up the EDIT menu.


  • Use the Pr, Pr, Vol and Vol buttons to move the cursor to the Programme Number number you want to delete.
 
Step 2 Deleting The Programme

  • Press the Purple button on your remote handset. The Programme Number will be deleted.

  • All the following Programme Numbers will be shifted up one position.
